1994 subaru legacy parking brake handle replacement?
i just bought this car and the little plastic button that allows you to activate the parking brake just broke. the end of it actually popped off so that the spring is showing as well as the rest of the button. i was wondering if there’s a guide on how to replace them or if i’ll just have to go to a junkyard and diy it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, the Haynes shop manuals and the Chilton’s both explain how it’s done. Yet the job is pretty much a do it yourself one really. Just remember to use a little bit of molybdenum grease at the pivot points to help things last longer and you’ll never regret it.
