CARPET TILES DIY

Another diy question?
I’m putting hardboard down then carpet tiles on top but do i put the hardboard rite up to the door stop or should i leave a gap for the carpet strip.
Hardboard right to the edge so it supports the whole tile – tiles and edging strip on top. Otherwise, when you put the edging strip down, the far side of the end tiles will curl up.
