CNC DIY PROJECT

want to install a mirror on a shelf for a DIY project, but needs to be cut around a 2×4 stud at one end.?
i can cut glass in a straight line, but dont know how to cut out a notch in the corner, to fit around this stud. dont have access to any fancy band saws or CNC machines.
Mark the notch but radius the corner with a glass cutter
submerge the mirror in a bath of water and nibble the glass away (with your hands underwater) using pliers or similar.
relieve the wood to match the radius.
Or
Just cut the glass straight and fill in the gap with another piece.
Or
try an angle grinder with a diamond disk and water running over the mirror to cool it.
Or
Get a glass merchant to cut it for you.
All assume you will take sensible safety precautions.
