DIY ways to recycle a broken I-pod?
I was looking at a do-it-yourself site, when I saw this:

I don’t smoke, but it reminded me of an old I-pod I have lying around my house that doesn’t work anymore. Does anyone have any other ideas of cool things I could make out of my non-functioning I-pod?

Ornament? On your Christmas tree, in your hair? I don’t have an iPod, but I do have an old mp3 player I turned into a hair accessory/secret compartment, similar to the thing you have shown.
I glued a large ribbon on the back, added some glitter, and am considering some tiny pearls right now, and attached it to a headband. I have some tiny, chip thingies form the inside hanging down on a ribbon from it, and some random dice.
It’s quite extravagant, but it looks lovely in my imagination. ![]()
