DIY BABY CRIBS PLANS
So I’m planning a baby shower, right…?
And I need help, like, soooo bad!
And I’m planning my friends BaSho and I’m looking for ideas on DIY stuff and like… cheap stuff, cause we don’t want to waste a load on this, well anyways.
Suggestions from ones you’ve been too, or websites would be awesome, I have some ideas but I need more.
I hardly know anything about baby showers other than its the party for the baby-to-come, or something like that…
And also, if you’ve been to BaSho’s, like mention things you wish they could have provided for you, the guest. ( i.e.: drinks, goodies, good games and excuse to leave, lol kidding.. )
I need serious help with this, so… yeah thanks! Oh and what should I get her? Should I get her the biggest, most expensive thing? I get the feeling, thats what she expects from me as (she’s like that), since I’m her best friend, and truthfully, I don’t feel like buying a crib for a baby that aint mine….
Ideas for food:
Nothing too expensive, you could get a couple of foot long subs at subway and cut them up. (depending on how many people you are having) You could also have chips and dip, a veggie tray, cheese and crackers, or something like that. I would also do a cake or cupcakes, you could make them yourself to save some money.Make a punch or have a few different options for beverages.
Ideas for games:
-Get a roll of yarn and have everyone cut off a piece as a guess to how big the mommy to be’s belly is.
-Take different candy bars and smush them into diapers (sounds gross), have everyone guess what type of candy bar is in each diaper.
-Have dolls in diapers, and see who can change a diaper the fastest.
For each game you can give a small, inexpensive prize. I would give a candle or something like that.
I would just get her something that is on her registry if she has one. You don’t have to get her the most expensive gift, you are throwing her a shower and that costs money as well. I would get her some essential things needed for the baby such as diapers, wipes, baby shampoo etc. and put them in a basket for her.
This site has a lot of ideas..
