DIY CARPET BINDING
Has anyone tried the DIY glue on carpet edge binding? Did it work OK? Thanks?
try to get your hands on an iron meant specificaly for this application… my father got one off of ebay for 50 bucks, retail value of 349 bones.
then go to a carpet place…. a place specializing in carpet and instalation and ask if they have some of the carpet binding tape… let them know youve got an iron. with any luck and 10 bucks later you should be riding back home with 50 feet or so of the glue strips..
the DIY tape is alright for a little while but you simply cannot beat the professional stuff
