How do i stop myself from falling down a hole?

Hi Kristy B, reading your question was just like reading myself 4-5 yrs ago. Im still changing certain aspects of my life here and there. In those past years, I have taught myself to be more self reliant because I just want to be like that- it’s more of personal freedom when like that. Here are some of my thoughts put after yours…..

-Mine too, sun and merc, aries moon. Was sensitive like this then, now I think clamming up is stupid (for me, maybe not for you), when it’s for trivial reasons. I like to the convert the situation, and think, it’s unfair for me to put such high standards for people trying to get to know me, when even I have the same problems with some people who put such high ceilings of trust for me. Sky high, for what, really???

it literally takes me years to trust.
- Yes, it is for me too, until I realized, in a relationship, it’s not always about me and all about me, it’s never one sided, and I am sure, the other person would also want to trust me as well. Why should I make so difficult for others?

i am high suspicious.. and untrusting. both these signs are prone to thinking no one will understand them and have high defence mechanisms.
- What’s there to be defensive, if you had not done anything offensive? And no one understands me is because I have not done my best to make them understand me, I can make people understand, I just dont want them to. I know that for sure.

sometimes i get scared to leave my room LOL

this is me at my worst.. i have contenplated scrapping astrology because my chart has shown me many problems.. but i know ultimatly i can change these things..
- Tell you what. Scrap the crap, and just take in what you want to believe or makes you feel and see yourself better in Astrology. If anything else, try philosophy and psychology.

i feel its safe to trust no body because then there will be no emotional scars in the future
- Honey, that’s probably cause you don’t even trust yourself to start with. You don’t trust yourself that your own capacity of dealing with emotional issues. Maybe you are still blessed to be in a sheltered, safe and comfort zone. Good for you. For some people, exposing themselves and getting hurt, is the only way to earn a safe place in this world.

i don’t think its healthy, and would like to have less emotional baggage..
- Baggage is great analogy. It is your very choice to leave it or take it with you, everywhere you go. In this vast space filled with emo strifes- nobody knows which baggage is yours or not. Sometimes, nobody cares really, they have theirs. Even better, sometimes we tend to mix up our baggages with others. Me, I am working my way to get rid of it. It aint easy. But Im just not the type to leave my bags and luggage unattended. Get rid of the small ones first, slowly, you’ll feel lighter. Trust me. =)
