DIY LINEN CLOSETS

Needing creative ideas for bathroom storage…?
My tiny little bathroom does not have a medicine cabinet or a designated linen closet (inside or outside the bathroom). I am at a loss about where to put the things that I have always stored in one and/or both of those locations (towels, extra linens, medicines, toiletries, etc). The only usable, built-in storage space is in the vanity under the sink, which I currently use for bathroom cleaning supplies and bath products.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to increase my bathroom storage space without the addional strain on my already tapped-out budget? I’m open to buying cabinets, shelves, etc. if I have to, but I’d much rather DIY something that is functional, creative and most importantly…CHEAP!
Wire grids offer functional and versatile storage. You can decoratively store extra towels in baskets or hang them on hooks from the grids.
For medicines and other unsightly small bottles, mount small baskets to the inside of the vanity doors. Also under the vanity… The space is often too tall and wasted space can be claimed simply by installing a narrow shelf, front to back on the side wall of the inside of the vanity. So you can store shorter bottles on the shelf and taller cleaning bottles under the shelf.
Your local Target, WalMart, and Ikea are great places to explore for storage solutions as is Bed Bath and Beyond, Hold Everything and The Container Store
