DIY OFFICE DESK
How old is this antique/vintage desk?
hello
We just purchased this desk, it is very big; about 6′ by 3′.
We bought it from a lady who bought it from an auction 20 years ago for many thousands dollars.
We can see that the desk have been used for many years as some of the edges, where peoples move around when using a desk, are discolored a bit (actually it add alot of charm and suggest a long history; which we appreciate).
It is obviously all hand crafted.
I found a picture of the exact same desk on the internet.
Unfortunately, there is no description whatsoever of the desk and the desk that appear in the picture seems to have been restored, or it is a replica since it seems like a new one and ours seems much older.
If you know more about it, or if you have the knowledge to guess how old it is; please let us know as it is of great interest to us and we would be very grateful to you.

I would only add that you might want to take a drawer with you to whomever you take your photo to. That way they can see the detail in the construction of the drawer and the type of wood used.
