You have to use a particular wire length and wire gauge for effective functioning of the turbine. The other things you need are the inverter setting up and battery bank.
The tail is inclusive of the boom that is connected to the vain of tail. The whole assembly has to be installed to the pivot point that is sitting at the tower top. The device called “yaw bearing” is the pivot device that permits the turbine turning by the tail. Ensure that the tail is of correct weight and size for causing the turbine furl as required.
Other components of the setting up of the wind-turbine include the shut-off switch along with the kill-switch and several breakers, controllers and monitors. Technically, they are not essential system components but would be necessary for the proper functioning.
The turbine has to be mounted on a tower which can be a mechanically tilting one or a stationery one which requires you to climb onto it.
