GARDEN FENCE DIY

what can i use to stop my dog from going to a certain part of my garden?
i have small children so electric fencing is not an option. also it has 2 be on a low budget, and i aint got a clue about diy, so i guess im looking for a miracle. any ideas welcome
Take the small (about 1 foot high X 2.5 feet long) fencing sections but instead of fencing off the garden put the segments in the garden parallel to each other about 2 feet apart. The plants grow over them and the dogs don’t like to run through the garden because they can’t see them and it hits their legs.
