AU Falcon stop light switch?

I have a problem with my Ford AU Falcon II Wagon, the stop light switch on the brake pedal keeps needing replacing. Does anyone have any idea on how to replace one DIY rather than pay Ford 170.00 to sort it out? If anyone knows of any manuals please let me know.

It’s not hard to replace at all , first thing get a good light so you can see under it good , you should just need to unplug the wire connecter going to it and i believe it slide over the brake pedal and you need to remove the pin that holding it in place . it’s easier to remove then to try and tell you how to remove it. You can do it just get under there and do it.
