Why does my Traction and ABS warning light both intermittently turn on?
It happens maybe 1 in 3 times when I drive. and turning off/on my car fixes it. I have noticed sometimes that my ABS will activate at very slow speeds/ sometimes when I brake, sometimes it activates when the pedal is pressed.
once also the parking brake light turned on when I was driving (about 1 month ago).
What can I do to fix it? I am a DIY guy with a car manual who is up to almost any task!
This is a 96 dodge intrepid 3.5 auto
Bad ABS senser, also possible bad wheel bearing, lets the hub wobble and move out of or away from senser reading range
