What are the best methods of creating your own wedding flowers
Wedding flowers are an important and indispensable part of any wedding. These gifts by Mother Nature bring a lot of aesthetic, fragrant and feel-good values to an auspicious occasion like the wedding. Considering the importance of floral presence in a wedding, it takes a lot of finesse and skills to design a good bouquet.
A lot of factors need to be taken into consideration before creating a bouquet like the wedding theme, bridal and groom choice, the season, just to mention a few. First, if you use fresh flowers, take out the thorns from the flowers and keep the flowers in fresh water in a bucket till the time you start working with them.
Second, hold four flowers, all in even height, on the hand which is not your natural hand. For example, if you are right handed, place the flowers in the left hand.
Third, turn the group of four flowers in an anti clock wise fashion and add six more flowers to the group. The six flowers must be placed at a height which is lower than the four flowers. Add the flowers in such a manner so that they are placed at an even distance from the other.
Fourth, continue to repeat the step described in the paragraph above. In order to add to the elegance of the bunch, you can mix and match the colors of the flowers so that they make a vibrant bunch. This is one of the important lessons in wedding flowers DIY.
Fifth, add foliage or a baby’s breath, if required. Use a string, rubber band or anything to tie the stems together. This must be done at the place where all the stems come together at the top. Sixth, start cutting the flower bunch from the stem level. If the flowers are fresh, cut them on a slant. This is another trick which must be mastered if you are planning on DIY Wedding Flower. After you are done, tie a ribbon around the bunch of flower in a slanted motion that moves downwards when you have the reached the bottom, start tying the flowers up in the same manner.
