SHADOW BOX DIY

DIY- FENCE BUILDING. I am tearing down an existing wood fence and replacing it with a new wood fence.?
I am putting up a new dog ear shadow box fence. I am building it piece by piece, not by using pre-made panels. I have all materials on order and have rented a skidster with an auger attachment. I am just looking for any help/recommendations from experience. I have ordered 480 fence boards, 34-4″x4″x8′, 60-2″x4″x8′, 18-2″x4″x16′, 34 bags of quickrete quick setting cement, and 17 bags of all purpose gravel. I also have rented a skidster to remove the existing fence, and an auger attachment to dig the new holes. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Make sure you set a line of string so that you set the poles straight. and use a level so that once the poles are set and the cement is tamped in you can be sure the top is straight with the bottom no leaning. I would set stakes at each corner and run your string from each stake and then measure to make sure you are straight. Then start with digging the holes for your corners and start setting them and pour in a bag of concrete into the hole with the post then add water make sure you use something to pole down into the concrete while it fills with water this allows the water to go into the bottom of the concrete, keep in mind that there is moisture in the ground so even if you don’t add water to the concrete the cement will begin drawing moisture out of the ground, and depending on how much rain you’ve had lately you might have your holes filling with water right after you dig them, so be prepared when you do decide to add the concrete.
Most of all just make sure everything is straight and the posts are level vertically.
