diy crafts ideas for rooms?

ok so in the future im going to paint my room a nice blue
btw im a girl 14
i have a simple ugly wood desk
a new dark brown full bed
and a little box thing for storage

You could have the desk sanded down, and apply either a stain to match the bed, or even white with some design you like stenciled on and then painted in a fashion that you like. I don’t know exactly what you mean by a little box thing. Is it a clear storage bin or something else? I would consider picking up some bedroom design books at Home Depot or Lowes. I know they seem to have a decent amount of design idea books for teens. Good Luck.
