possible to make a DIY wind shield for built in sound of DSLR 550d?

is it possible to do that? not intending to get an external recorder/shotgun mic. anything i can do to improve the status quo?

Put some very soft Foam over the Mic using tape to fix it on, If you hae children you could use one of their old fluffy toys cutting a small piect of the material off. and using that. You will find that you may need to get closer to the subjects as it will muffle the saound.
