Bosch Exxcel washing machine washes but does not spin.Cycle stops at end of wash.?
Our Bosch Exxcell 1400 washing machine which is 6 years old has a problem. It completes the wash cycle OK then stops. We have tried the spin programme only and that does not work. We have checked the pump and that seems OK. There is nothing obvious stuck like buttons stuck.The water is not hot so it would not appear to be a heater problem. We presume it is not the brushes or the motor as the wash cycle works fine. Is there a simple solution for us who DIY expertise is fairly limited. Has anyone any ideas of a solution that does not necessitate calling out an engineer which may not be worthwhile due to the age of the machine. we are prepared to have a go!!
open the lid and see iff there is a lid switch if so pull the 2 wires out strip and tie together and remember to unplug untile your finished
